How do I order a cake?

How long in advance do I need to place my order?
It's always best to order as soon as you know your date. If I am not already fully booked for the date I will always try my best to accommodate
Cakes with ordered elements should be placed a month in advance


Can I pay when I collect my cake?
Unfortunately not
Orders need to be paid for up front in order to confirm your order


Do you make novelty, themed & fondant cakes?
Unfortunately I don't


What determines the price of my cake?
The size, the flavour & filling, as well as the overall design & hours

 Do you offer cake tastings? 
I don't currently offer tastings at this stage. Hopefully in the near future!
An alternative option would be to order a small cake in your favourite flavour & taste it with your friends & family over a cup of tea

Please note that all cakes are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs & other allergens.
While every care is taken, I cannot guarantee that
any cake is completely  free from traces of allergens
 

Cake Care

When I collect my cake
Please make sure to put your cake on a flat surface when you collect - like on the floor of the front passenger seat.
Or use a towel to create a flat surface & place it on the front passenger seat
Make sure to have your aircon on. Don't be in a rush.. make sure you have time to get to your destination. Drive over those bumps carefully  & take corners very slowly!
Please note that once the cake leaves my Studio it will no longer be in my hands
It is up to you to get it to your destination safely


How should I store my cake before serving?
Cakes must be kept in the fridge as soon as they are collected.
Remove it +- 2 hours before serving to bring it to room temperature. 
Please keep it out of direct sunlight to avoid the buttercream melting  
Cakes should be stored in a clean refrigerator free from strong smelling foods. Cakes are naturally porous &
can absorb surrounding odours, which may affect the flavour of the cake 


How long will my cake keep for?
While the cake is made to be served on the day you order it, if stored correctly in an air tight container
you can enjoy it up to 48 hours after your event date
