a bespoke micro-cakery specialising in thoughtfully designed,

handcrafted cakes for intimate celebrations.

Based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, I create made-to-order cakes that are tailored specifically to you.

From flavour combinations to colour palettes & overall design, every cake is individually crafted with care & attention to detail.

No two cakes are ever the same

Please note that I do not keep pre-made or ready-to-go cakes - all orders are created fresh & by appointment only.

Due to limited availability, I recommend securing your date as soon as possible.

All orders must be placed via the order form, & availability is confirmed once your enquiry has been reviewed.

Oh my word — where do I start?

 

ALL of Em’s cakes and cupcakes are the “best flavour,” but my ultimates are the Vanilla and Mixed Berry or the Vanilla and Raspberry!

 

And if you’re a chocolate lover, the chocolate cupcakes with espresso buttercream filling are TO DIE FOR!

​

Every time I bring along a cake or cupcakes from Emily, everyone is like, “Oh my gosh, where is this from?” It is beautiful AND tastes so delicious!!

​

I only started ordering from Em about five months ago, but I’ve had five cakes and 60 cupcakes since then — every time as delicious as the last!

​

Keep doing what you’re doing, Em — you are excellent at what you do, and I can’t wait for all the cakes to come

Your sticky date cake is an absolute knockout. You can taste every ounce of love you pour into it. YUM — like you can’t believe.

My 28th birthday cake is something I still think about more than one year later. Your delicious vanilla sponge had so many people asking who made my cake, and the attention to detail on the decorating made it look straight out of a Pinterest dream board. Not only did it make me feel special, I was SO proud to show it off I didn’t even care that I was turning another year older hehe.

​

Classic vanilla with caramel has got to be the OG you try. The dense yet decadent sponge makes you wish you lived in a house made from it. And if you can somehow bribe Em, you should try the sticky date cake. If I wasn’t already in love with her, I’d 100% fall after the first bite.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Emily for my birthday cake. From start to finish, everything was seamless, efficient, and so friendly, which I truly appreciated.

She made sure she had every detail exactly right and even helped me refine my ideas to bring the vision together perfectly
